Belmont Public Library

The Belmont Public Library is centrally located on Concord Avenue between the Town Hall complex and Belmont High school campus. A fixture for Belmontonians for over 150 years, and in its current location for over 50 years, the library recently opened a brand new facility in January 2026. Today we circulate over 550,000 items each year making us one of the most successful stand-alone Libraries in the Commonwealth. With a staff of 50+, and several dedicated boards including our Board of Trustees we are proud to service Belmont and the surrounding towns.
